Data Grove Consulting Sdn. Bhd. (“we”, “us”) is the data user and data controller for personal data collected through datagrove.digital. Our registered address is 24,Jalan Wong Ah Fook, 80000 Johor Bahru, Malaysia. SSM: 201901056712.

Data Protection Officer

What we collect

  • Inquiry form: name, email, optional phone, and your message about the project.
  • Cookie choice: a preference stored in your browser (see our Cookie notice).
  • We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking on this site.

We process inquiry data to respond to your request, prepare proposals, and perform pre-contract steps. Processing is based on your consent when you submit the form and our legitimate interest in operating a consulting business.

Disclosure

Inquiry data is handled by our same-domain form handler on datagrove.digital and is accessed only by staff who need it to reply. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Inquiry records are kept for up to twenty-four months after the last correspondence unless a longer period is required for contracts or law.

Security

We apply access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and least-privilege access to systems holding inquiry data.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (as amended), you may request access, correction, withdrawal of consent, and—where applicable from 2025—the data portability right. Contact the DPO to exercise these rights.

Data breaches

If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commissioner as soon as practicable and inform affected individuals where significant harm is likely, consistent with section 12B of the amended Act.
